Replacement of the TLG-R10011B-323
TLG-R10014B-323’s layer is polymeric: it has been added a small percentage of inorganic, hardening agent for a uniform and hard surface, smooth and dense, that will not crack, blister nor swell up. They were designed for maximum robustness of the binder: they are very easy to handle and to write on, as well as completely wettable.
They are compatible with all solvents, yet, they might oxidize a bit faster when dipped into KMnO4 (fading in a few minutes from flashy purple to yellow ocher). Also, spots are a bit less definite when using CAM as a revelatory.
Such binder also contains a higher percentage of fluorescent indicator for greater brilliance of spots and less background noise from the silica layer.
